A Mercenary's Pride

Explosive charges were wrapped around various areas of the Gouf by the engineers of the Raven, while Conrad stood watch on the bow of the ship.

"All set," one man said as they all began to clear the area.
"Here you go," another engineer said, handing a detonator to Conrad. "Just press that button right there."

Conrad nodded and turned around to see the whole crew of the Raven also on the bow right behind him. He took one last glance at his mobile suit and pressed the button. The Gouf exploded in the middle of the wrecked pirate fortress.

The crew clapped and cheered immediately after. Kyle Ryder walked up to Conrad and patted him on the back.

"How's it feel to blow up your pride and glory?" he asked with a smirk.
Conrad turned around and patted Kyle on the shoulder as he walked back in the ship.

Logan shook his head and laughed.
"As you can see, he's pretty much the quiet type while not in battle." he said to Kyle.
"Hmm..yeah no kidding." responded Kyle.
