Neo Makenshi finds that his life has meaning only through his actions. In a way he wants to be a hero to the people, so he pilots a mobile suit for that very purpose to save everyone he can. He will protect his comrades or most civilians without a second thought for his own safety. Never the less he also has a serious side to him as he will destroy anyone who is the cause of these of these atrocities. He prefers melee combat as he finds that it shows the true strength of the pilot.
